• Positioning: Place the Silicone Milk Collector inside your bra, aligning it with your nipple. Make sure that the stopper is fully closed.
• Collection: Let the cup catch milk during breastfeeding or pumping on the opposite breast, or during natural letdown. When collecting, please note that CDC recommendation is not to keep milk at room temperature for longer than four hours. 
• Transfer: After collection, carefully remove the cup, open the stopper and use the pouring hole to transfer milk into a storage bag or bottle.
• Re-use: Rinse and dry if necessary, then re-position in your bra for continued use.

Can I wear it while sleeping?

• This depends on how much milk you are leaking. If leaking more than 1.25oz overnight, you would need to empty it out at least once overnight in order not to overflow.
• Importantly, if you keep your milk savers on overnight for longer than four hours, the collected breast milk should not be used to feed your baby as the milk has been at room temperature for longer than the recommended limit by the CDC. This milk can be used for other purposes such as milk baths or soaps.  

Is the Milk-A-Save visible under clothing?

It is designed to be discreet, but visibility can vary depending on clothing type.

How often should I empty the cup?

• If you are intending to feed the collected milk to your baby, then it should be emptied at least every four hours. 
• It’s also important to monitor how much you are leaking in the first few days of usage to gauge how often you would need to empty.
• If you are using it to catch the let down on the other side while nursing from one side, it would be a good idea to empty it after the nursing session.

• Before First Use: Wash with warm soapy water and then boil for 3 minutes.
• After Each Use: Rinse, wash, and air-dry parts. Do not put in the dishwasher.
• Sanitizing: Use UV or cold water sterilization. Avoid boiling after the first use.

• Inspect Regularly: Check for any signs of damage or wear.
• Not a Substitute for Pumping: Designed for collection, not extraction.
• Avoid Overfilling: To prevent leakage and maintain comfort.
• Proper Fitting: Ensure it's correctly positioned to prevent discomfort.
• Consult Healthcare Provider: If you experience pain or discomfort beyond normal adjustments.
